Tomato Planting Season

It is traditionally said that tomato plants should go in by Melbourne Cup Day.

I got most of mine in 10 days ago, of various different varieties.

Now my challenge is to keep them alive over the summer.

  1. I kept a grosse lisse alive through winter and have a heap of wild cherry tomatoes going and already picking the ripe ones from both types. It’s a nice change from previous years. I hope you have a good season with yours as they taste great when homegrown.
