My view is that civil action by the women who were the victims of this incident is not enough.
The Australian government needs to ban Qatar Airlines from our skies, and the Socceroos need to boycott the soccer World Cup in Qatar in December.
All sponsorship deals by Australian sporting clubs with Qatari companies should be abandoned and we should as consumers boycott Qatar.
This should continue until the victims are adequately compensated for this disgraceful incident.
